Sourcing the moment

Another great post from Synchronicity.org

There is an easy way to make life a magical experience. It doesn't require doing anything or going anywhere. It simply requires being fully in the moment.

There can be wonderful qualities associated with being fully present in the moment. These include a heightened level of awareness, greater flow of creativity and a sense of excitement in not knowing what the next moment will bring. It is can also be accompanied by a sense of fulfillment. To be fully present in the moment is to be 100% alive!

There are obvious instances when full focus within the moment manifests effortlessly and spontaneously, such as in times of celebration or when experiencing love and intimacy. Other more challenging situations may also gather your focus such as in a new and unfamiliar environment or when fear arises.

Likewise, a "here and now" focus may come easily when sitting on the meditators seat... but, it can be much more challenging to invoke while in a crowded room, or perhaps sitting on a bus.... or how about when someone is boring you with a dull conversation?

Staying in the present requires power. This power is progressively built by increasing balance through such technologies as Synchronicity Contemporary Meditation. An imbalanced mind, on the other hand, will have difficulty staying present and will just drift back and forth between the past and future.

For this week, try making a conscious choice to be fully present at a time when you normally would drift along. Perhaps that time could be when traveling to work or school or when doing some other routine activity. See how many times during the day an ordinary experience can be transformed into an extraordinary experience by lasering your focus into the here and now.

Stay in the moment and see what magic and miracles arise. What ever happens, you will be more present to experience it.

Be Well,

Interesting post. However, being in the present is much easier said than done. Many ppl understand it intellectually but few are able to appreciate it fully.
